About

I'm not a legal recruiter.
That's the point.

My name is Jonathan Machules. I've spent 25 years building systems that help organizations do more without adding headcount — at Microsoft, at Health First, at a roofing company scaling through rapid growth, and most recently at a workforce staffing platform where my team built the technology platform, website and mobile app from the ground up.

I came to legal staffing from the outside. I was introduced to someone running a two-desk executive search practice — smart, experienced, well-networked — who was losing placements not because of anything he was doing wrong, but because the gap between "I'll follow up Thursday" and Thursday kept growing. He had five years of candidate relationships sitting in a laptop folder. No system to reactivate them. No alert when a target firm made a move. No way to take a strong candidate to market without doing it manually, step by step.

What I saw was a capacity problem that looked like a people problem.

The businesses I've worked with — a $30M healthcare account managing complex referral relationships, a workforce platform scaling into two states, a field services operation running dozens of concurrent jobs — all had the same structure underneath: one person at the center that everything ran through, and no system built around them. Legal staffing is the same problem. The relationships are different. The stakes are the same.

And I knew exactly how to fix it.

I'm based in Oviedo, Florida. I work with a small number of clients at a time, because this work requires actually understanding your business before building anything. If someone you trust sent you here, that's the right reason to reach out.
